The winners for the 26th Annual OFTA Film Awards have been announced.
The Online Film & Television Association has selected Everything Everywhere All at Once as 2022’s best film. In addition, it was presented ten other prizes. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s sci-fi exploration of dysfunctional family dynamics also claimed the awards for Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Supporting Actress (Stephanie Hsu), Breakthrough Performance: Female (Hsu), Ensemble, Casting, Director, Original Screenplay, Film Editing, and Cinematic Moment along with the publicity award for Movie Poster.
Top Gun: Maverick came in second with four awards, picking up the awards for Cinematography, Sound, Sound Effects, and Stunt Coordination. Aftersun collected prizes for Youth Performance (Frankie Corio), Feature Debut (Charlotte Wells), and Adapted Song (“Losing My Religion”).
The other acting awards were presented to Colin Farrell as Best Actor for The Banshees of Inisherin, Jenny Slate for Best Voice-Over Performance for Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, and Austin Butler for Best Breakthrough Performance: Male for Elvis.
Best Documentary was given to Fire of Love
